The bedrooms were clean and of high quality, but the chairs in the breakfast room were shabby.

The room was nice with a good shower, the selection of beers, wines and lagers was great, breakfast was good, the staff were friendly, and the location is very handy for the village, the canal, and walks along the Pennine Way—all everything was good.
