The baths were incredible. The view out over the forest was lovely. The food was good. The facility is old but charming. The futon are a bit thin so I would double them up if I stayed again

The place was spotless, and the staff were incredibly helpful and supportive. They arranged an early breakfast for us when we asked. Getting there would be tough if you don’t have a car.

It’s an authentic spot with remarkable food, perfectly positioned for hiking, and an onsen that’s usually private amid beautiful natural scenery. The managers, Léa, were very friendly. Nothing else to note.
