The hostel was modestly run by a family, and the people were very friendly. The room was just average, the toilet was in bad condition, the curtains were broken, and overall the room wasn’t great.

La convivialité

The place was calm, warm, and family‑like, but we wished for a breakfast with more homemade or artisanal items, and it was a shame we couldn't go horse‑back riding.

The real countryside scent and the dining, especially the Arbois wine, left a good impression, yet the heat was due to the climate, not the hotel; a fan helped through the night.

The property is solid and offers good value; you have to walk down the corridor to the bathroom and shower, which is fine. The vibe is pleasant, breakfast was nice, and a bit more salty fare to showcase local specialties would be welcome. It’s a pity we didn’t notice it was also an inn, because the fondue looked excellent—next time, we’ll check it out.
