“Pathetic infrastructure, the owner and management should be ashamed”
There is nothing to like in this property except the Benalum beach and the decent breakfast served in the mornings. The drive to the resort is nice. I have an entire list - we had to change our room 3 times in 2 days - fan made sounds, quality of room was pathetic, rain water stuck in balconies. Finally the room that we were given did not have the central ac working all day and night - I was literally sweating all night and felt completed cheated with the kind of money that I was charged for the room - when I requested for a better room or upgrade - although the entire resort was empty and closed for maintainance , they did not bother giving us a decent room. By mistake I tried using the room which not in a very very pathetic conditon - it was boiling hot water and the people had not even turned on the water for it to recycle. For everything we had to prod them and compalin or keep calling them. Overall the ac not working , poor service , horrible pool and then they expected us to pay to for everything with no goodwill gesture which usally a 5 star does on its own. I would never recommend anyone everr to go and stay at Azaya - there are so many 5 star resorts on this beach , could have stayed anywhere but did not realise this was my biggest mistake in my goa trip- this place has left a very bitter experience in a property like this , wish had stayed somewhere else
