I loved the lovely garden, the quiet setting, and the friendly staff, but the tankless water heaters in the bathroom sometimes fail, so you might end up in a cold shower.

The accommodation looked traditionally Javanese, just 6 minutes by car from the city of Wonosobo, and the surroundings were beautiful and calm. Every morning the breakfast changed, which made it tasty and varied, and we also got regional dishes. A nice thing was that there were only a few Joglo huts, so you almost had a private experience. The staff were friendly, very hospitable, and truly helpful. Ardy, in particular, was very kind and helpful. The road to the place wasn’t paved, which could be tricky if you’re driving a smaller car, but that’s not the property’s fault.
