“Very unsettled”
The spot was really quiet, which we liked, but the bedroom left a lot to be desired. The mattress was okay but only one foam pillow per person and just a single towel for the two of us. The bathroom felt half‑finished, the doors didn’t have any keys, and there was no emergency phone, so if you locked yourself out you were stuck.
“A most unfortunate (and expensive) experience”
The property was out in the middle of nowhere and felt pretty bleak. We only got the check‑in details at 12:36 on the day we arrived, and we were on the road with no signal, so we had no clue where to go. A staff member let us in, saying the whole place was ours, but it wasn’t clear we’d be sharing until the owner showed up an hour later.
“I was a bit concerned re bedding as to whether fresh linen”
The place sits in a handy spot, but we were disappointed to find there was no hot water at all.
