Having a sauna was fantastic! The lake is close, so I could enjoy beautiful views. The room was clean and spacious enough, and the provided amenities were plentiful. It’s a lodge I’d love to return to. I wish there were a vegetable peeler and a hot plate; the frying pan should probably be replaced.

The spot is in a quiet town and close to Lake Toya, which was lovely for swimming. The WiFi didn’t work because the router in property B was linked through an extender to an upstream router that was offline.

I appreciated the reply to the items I had confirmed. Overall it was very clean, and the air conditioning was on. Even in midsummer there were fewer bugs than I expected. One night was too short; I’d love to stay longer and would be happy to return next time I go to Lake Toya. It was clean, but the corners seemed rounded in the cleaning. There was no light over the sink, so that should definitely be added. Also, there were fewer towels than the number of guests, which was disappointing.

I stayed at a chalet near Lake Toya and it was awesome – the sauna was a nice touch. The only downside was the second room on the top floor; its low ceiling made it feel a bit cramped for an adult.
