The location is unbeatable, just a 2‑minute drive from the park entrance; just be quick because lines start forming at 7:30. There’s parking right in front, a small supermarket 7 minutes on foot, and plenty of dinner spots. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and despite being next to the road, you don’t hear noise at night. The staff’s friendliness and service are a bonus. In the end, the location is what you pay for, but the price feels a bit high for a motel of this type, though it’s worth it just for the spot.

Breakfast was good; swiming pool with warm water; good room size; comfortable beds; clean; 600 meters from the park entry. There is no table with chairs in the room

The big cosy bed in the rooms and the great location for the restaurants in West Yellowstone town as well as the national park were highlights, and the staff were helpful; when we told them our safe didn’t work, they promptly got it sorted for us. Breakfast wasn’t great, though—if you didn’t get there early enough there wouldn’t be much left; the latest we got there was 8:00 am and there were no yoghurts or coffee left. Our room smelt very strongly of bleach the first couple of days we were there.
