“We would stay here again”
Avril, the owner, is a very warm, welcoming, friendly person. Her breakfasts are brilliant with plenty of other options. The room was very clean and well presented, with plenty of tea, coffee, and a chocolate biscuit. The views were fantastic, and the hotel’s surroundings are well kept and tidy. Nothing negative.
Breakfast was excellent. The setting and area were lovely.
“Good value stay in a beautiful location”
Ideal location for our visit. We loved that it was quiet and rural and in very beautiful surroundings. Breakfast choices were good. Scrambled eggs and smoked salmon on our 2nd morning were excellent. Pillows were uncomfortable and the bathroom was very tight for space

The host was very friendly and gladly fulfilled our wishes. The area is very quiet and full of things to discover. The room and bathroom were clean, and the beds were comfortable. In short, it was perfect. No complaints.

The location was picture‑perfect, with beautiful surroundings, peaceful and quiet. We rode motorcycles, and the owner went out of her way to move her car so we could park safely in her garage, though we’d have been fine parking outside since the place is nicely tucked away off any main road. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the peaceful setting gave us a great night’s sleep. A lovely pub five minutes away served a fab menu for dinner. Breakfast was delicious, high quality, and superbly cooked. Nothing to say here—all perfect.
