The hotel's location was one of its strongest points, with everything from the beach to shopping centers and restaurants just a stone's throw away.
The hotel was clean and convenient, but I did notice that the bathroom had some unusual storage arrangements that didn't quite work for me.
Our ocean view room was the highlight of our vacation, with the sea breeze flowing in at any time and a beach towel always available.
The views from our balcony were truly breathtaking, with the ocean on one side and the mountains on the other.

“A nice location within Waikiki with sensational ocean views and a great overall feel.”
We loved the location and the view from our room was exceptional. The beds were really comfortable with great pillows. The hotel staff were very welcoming and always keen to make our stay comfortable. The pool was wonderful, especially for wheelchair access, and the hoist chair into the pool works well. We had breakfast each morning at the swell bar; it’s a great deck and poolside area. We were in the wheelchair‑accessible roll‑in shower room for my husband’s needs. He found the bathroom space workable but very tight for him in his wheelchair. Also the bed—being really comfortable as a plus—was quite high when transferring from wheelchair to bed, a little hard work. When having two queen beds in the room, access to the balcony was also tight, and the rail of the door on the floor was high. The door was also heavy for a wheelchair user. We really did love our stay and we’re only sharing this honest feedback to help the hotel to possibly make some changes for accessibility users, for a more practical stay.
The common areas are very well decorated and maintained, and the gym is very well equipped. The rooms, however, look abandoned, are outdated and dirty. There’s no insulation; our door didn’t even reach the floor, so we could hear every conversation in the hallway and in adjacent rooms—no privacy at all. Our room was almost adjacent to the pool entrance, so it was very noisy, and people in the pool could see our balcony, making it impossible to use it.
