The room itself was nice, but I had to shell out $32 for valet parking or $25 to park off‑property, and an extra $25 to watch anything beyond basic live TV. They also demanded $50 for early check‑in, and the stairwell was bloody, plus the sink was clogged.

The floor had a “hole” that sank when I stepped in a certain spot, and I twisted my ankle that evening; the manager promised to check it and get back to me, but I still haven’t heard anything, which feels like poor customer service. The floor keeps sinking and hurting me.

The place was clean and welcoming, and the rooftop bar looked great with its simple, thoughtful reuse of materials. However, after paying for breakfast, the desk clerk treated us like we were getting a special perk, which felt odd but not terrible. Service at the bar was awful: the first drinks were fine, but the bartender seemed stiff and inattentive, and when I asked for a second drink we were ignored for almost 15 minutes, even though the bar was empty. I finally had to interrupt the bartender/supervisor, who made my drink completely wrong—just a bad impression.
