Francisco was an amazing host, responsive and kind. I had to pay in colones and didn’t know beforehand that they didn’t accept cards, but Francisco said not to worry and let us pay the next day after visiting the ATM. I would definitely recommend this place!

The drive to the place was beautiful, with many scenic pits; the setting itself is lovely. The owner is extremely friendly and does everything himself, which you can see. It’s all quite sober but acceptable. I stayed one night at the Thermenbad Yoko Thermalis and highly recommend it. The cooking had to be done outside on a dated set; pots and pans had to be cleaned first, and for those two days it was still a bit of a hassle.

The location is dream‑like in the middle of nature, the camp kitchen is nice, and there’s a small pool fed by the river; it was a lot of fun. There was laundry service and pure nature on a beautifully laid‑out site. The rooms were relatively small for three people.
