The location was very good for a layover, and surprisingly the seaside spot was wonderful, making the evening walk a real pleasure. They even went out of their way to list open restaurants for us.

It was a quiet, well‑located spot and the breakfast was personal, available and friendly, and the premises were tidy. However, every hotel has at least one or two bottles of water in the room, and here I found none, not even paid. The bed was small and somewhat uncomfortable, and the shower support was faulty and unstable.

The location was perfect for train departures. The room was also in excellent condition; we had a standard one. We were lucky with parking when we arrived early, but if you come later you’ll have to park in spots where I personally wouldn’t even park a motorcycle. The breakfast was only 2 *, with no vegetables, no hot items, and no hard‑boiled eggs; they don’t even have space for a hot breakfast.

The traditional hotel was very well maintained in a quiet, charming seaside neighbourhood. The only issue was that our GPS had a little trouble finding the dead‑end.
