“Okay”
The location was quiet and close to town, but the rooms were cramped and noisy inside the house. Instant coffee was a plus, though the rooms were very close together.
The staff were friendly and welcoming.
The bathroom was far too small! Luckily the guests were very slim, otherwise we’d have had problems—just like the breakfast room!
“Tavsiye ederim.”
The host lady was very helpful and attentive; even though we arrived early, she offered tea and coffee, handed over our room right away, and let us check in early. The next day, since our bus was late in the evening, she showed us a place to leave our backpacks. Breakfast was adequate, and the hotel is within walking distance of the bus station and city center. The city of Galwey, however, is one of Ireland’s most expensive lodging markets, yet it’s not a typical tourist spot—just a place that’s popular on Instagram. Also, despite the buildings being concrete, the sound insulation between floors is very poor.
“We loved Galway.”
They provided an extra room for a continental breakfast, which was a very nice way to start the day. The room itself was comfortable, and we really enjoyed it. Nothing else to note.
