The staff were friendly and the linen was clean, and the bed was quite comfortable to sleep on, plus the location was also quite ideal. However, the moment I stepped into the room I noticed a very strong cigarette smell, so I had to spray the room with air freshener and keep my window open during the 30 degree heat; the AC also sometimes produced a puddle of water at the entrance of my door. The room was shabby with lots of wear and tear that wasn’t shown in the photos.
The location was excellent, just a few minutes from the Vatican, and the owners were very approachable and responded quickly to our inquiries.

We found the location good and the room nice. The room smelled like a room freshener that not everyone tolerates, and the mattress was miserable (collapsed/soft).
