The staff were very friendly and the location was quiet, but the room was a mess: the shower head was broken, the silicone in the shower was a disaster, a wardrobe door was missing entirely, the furniture was old and heavy, and not all the ceiling lights worked.

The only bright spot was the location—Arabsque, an Arabic restaurant right across from the hotel, served good food and stayed open until about 3 AM, which was handy for late‑night meals. The experience overall was extremely disappointing and unpleasant: the room was very outdated and filthy, with cockroaches everywhere, even on the bed; the bathroom was poorly maintained, with heavy grime, old leaking taps, and a bathtub that was stuck and couldn’t drain, eventually leaking and flooding the floor; the kitchen lacked basic cutlery and essential items; breakfast wasn’t offered at the hotel and we were directed to another hotel about 150 metres away, which was a terrible experience; the worst part was when the electricity went out in the middle of the night, there was only one person at reception and apparently no technician, so I had to change rooms during the night; the lift was tiny, dirty, shook noticeably while moving, and felt unsafe, barely fitting three people. Overall the property seems severely neglected and poorly managed, and I truly felt the hotel might be close to shutting down. In my opinion, this property should not be listed in its current condition.

The location was nice and quiet, the room was comfortable with a space for laptop work, and the gym and pool were good. The shiny floor tiles in the shower were a death trap, like trying to shower on an ice rink, and a non‑slip shower mat would cost maybe 60 baht.

The rooms were generously sized with a kitchen and a large wardrobe. The structure was a bit dated and neglected. The outdoor pool had murky water, which made me not want to cool off despite the oppressive Bangkok heat. The restaurant was not operating; I’m not sure if it was out of service only on the days I stayed, but since breakfast was included we were given a ticket to eat at a nearby hotel, where only on the first day we were taken by tuk‑tuk, otherwise we walked back. The receptionist’s friendliness was lacking.
