I was surprised to be asked for a €100 security deposit upon arrival. The phone in the room didn’t work, and there was confusion about the room not being cleaned. Breakfast was disappointing, with no hot food; the decor is really old, and the location is far from central Amsterdam in an ethnic neighbourhood.

Good price and 30 minutes from the city centre by bike. The rooms have faulty central air conditioning. If you drive, there’s no parking.
