The town where Conacul Doamnei is located is authentically Romanian, a rare find in Romania. The accommodation is new, beautiful, comfortable, and the food is excellent. The hosts are beautiful, good people, a rare find these days. If you want to recharge and relive childhood memories from your grandparents, it’s the ideal place; here time stayed still. Nothing was not to my liking.

We had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse! It sits in a beautiful area, perfect for nature walks and as a launch point for many nearby attractions. The accommodation was excellent: a spacious, clean room with a balcony, tastefully furnished. The fully equipped kitchen was available to us and other guests; the large courtyard and fruit‑laden garden (a dream come autumn) created a relaxing, quiet atmosphere—almost too quiet for those used to Bucharest. The food was hearty and delicious, served on the terrace, and the small hospitality touches—coffee, chocolate, plum brandy, and plum jam—along with the range of natural syrups—fir, sloe, and dandelion—left a strong impression. The genuine hospitality, warmth, and attentiveness of the hosts completely won us over. It’s a place where you truly feel welcome. We’ll definitely return and wholeheartedly recommend it!

Very clean and very friendly.

The sheep that wandered onto the property were grazing the grass, and the hosts helped by providing water to wash the motorcycle. The grounds were somewhat neglected.
