The owner is lovely, everything is new and spotless, and I highly recommend it – we’ll definitely come back as soon as we’re in Romania.
The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The two‑bedroom apartment was spotless, modern, and in excellent condition. We could use the downstairs kitchen if needed, and there was an outdoor terrace and private parking available. Nothing else to note.
Large rooms, a new property, a huge kitchen and dining area, very clean, and the owner was very pleasant. If you’re traveling with kids, the only downside is that the parking is just a corner with a trampoline.

We booked a single night to be close to the Transfăgărășan road so we could start our trip early before traffic builds up. Our family, filling 5 rooms, ended up being the only guests that day. The host, who also owns the place, greeted us warmly and helped with everything, even letting us use the kitchen fridge for drinks and offering a bottle of homemade wine. We chose to have breakfast made at our convenience, and it was delicious. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Curtea de Argeş is a solid base for reaching the road, with several good restaurants and attractions worth a quick visit. The only downside was that not all rooms had air conditioning, but it wasn’t very hot at night so it didn’t matter much.
