“Skip this hotel”

Hotel Trimurti sits close to Har Ki Pauri, yet you still need an e‑rickshaw to reach the actual Aarti spot each evening; the hotel relies heavily on group tours and can be busy, though the staff are friendly. Breakfast, if it’s included in your room rate, is served hot and made‑to‑order rather than buffet, and everything we ordered tasted great. Unfortunately, the building is old and poorly maintained; at nightly rates above Rs. 6500 the rooms feel cramped and the bathrooms need modernisation (plastic pails are used for bathing). For that price, you’d be better off looking elsewhere.

The hotel was clean, the staff were polite and friendly, and the view of the Ganga Ghat was amazing; it’s also close to Har Ki Pauri.

The location is good, but the hotel offers three room categories that are advertised as 35 m² while in reality they max out at 20 m²; the bedding is old and dirty, and there is dust everywhere. The power supply is completely wrong, and the staff did not respond to the issue. They also referred me to Booking, which incorrectly listed the room categories, so guests are being misled.
