The location was close to places we wanted to visit; this was my second stay at King Richard Lodges and another lovely stay; the shower was a little hit and miss for water temperature.

Corinna was a fantastic, friendly host who greeted us upon arrival and explained how to use the hot tub, heating, and oven. The hot tub itself was warm, clean, and amazing, and the lodge felt cozy and comfortable, especially with the complimentary gowns for the tub. We relaxed nicely, and my daughter even fed the horses in a nearby field while we spotted squirrels, Fred the pheasant, robins, and two small roe deer. I would 100% recommend King Richards Lodges for a peaceful, relaxing stay where you can disconnect from the outside world. A suggestion: cover the hot tub with a roof and add a few hooks just inside the lodge door for towels or robes, especially when it rains, and provide a spot to dry towels and swim gear.

The site is great, with about 15 cabins that keep it very quiet. The hot tubs feel as private as possible and the water is crystal clear. The lady at reception was very friendly and welcoming. It’s a lovely place to spend a few nights. The WiFi signal was a little weak, but 5G worked fine, so we used our phone’s hotspot for the TV.
