The AC leaked water, forcing me to wake up at midnight to deal with it, and the ceiling fan didn’t work. After 10 AM, the restaurant stopped offering bread and jam.

The hotel made a great midway stop between Thekkady and Varkala Town, offering tasty juice bars, fresh fruit, friendly locals, and a sense of safety. The top‑floor modern bar/nightclub and restaurant served delicious, value‑packed food. The room was very clean and modern, matching a western chain standard, and the shower was hot. The corridors, however, were very hot.
