The staff were very friendly and helped us upgrade to a private room because we were traveling as a family.

It’s the top place to stay if you want to walk around the town and have all the amenities nearby. The bed was warm and comfy, and the host was great; I’ll book again. Nothing to complain about.

Base Camp is one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in and it exceeded my expectations. It’s extremely clean, recently updated, and overall a great space. Betws‑y‑Coed is amazing, and Base Camp’s location is excellent. I walked into town each morning and could easily go back and forth to the hostel. The only downside is there isn’t a staff member on-site 24/7, but they’re reachable by phone and the iPad check‑in was easy.
