The lighting in the room is poor. There is no ceiling light; the lights at the bed and in the corners are weak. That works well for wellness caves and candlelight dinners, but if you want to see or read in the room it’s difficult. Many hotels now have similar lighting issues.

I stayed in the older building across the street; it was clean and tidy, though not as modern as the main building.

A very nice, relatively newly renovated hotel with an upscale standard, a generous breakfast buffet, a fitness room, and a good central location. The staff are friendly and always helpful. You can buy bread for bike trips at the on‑site butcher shop, which is delicious. Parking is scarce; you’ll need to use a parking meter nearby, but it worked fine.
