The view over the Böhmerwald and the lake was lovely, and the place itself was extraordinary. Because the water depth meant the module was only a third in the lake, we ended up in a slanted position and the sliding door to the bathroom wouldn’t close. On top of that, the mattress was too thin and too large, sticking out past the bed frame.

The waterfront location is naturally the biggest selling point of this place, and the facilities are very good, including air conditioning. The double bed’s mattress is too large and sits on the raised frame, causing a slanted surface on one side. The patio lacked a camping table. The houseboat sits right next to the dock for the sailboats, which is heavily used on hot days, so it’s not very quiet.

The location is great, in the marina on the water, and there aren’t many people, which surprised me with how calm it is. The selection near the water could use a bit more imagination, and the cold sausage for a kilo leaves a slightly tarnished overall impression.

Very beautiful accommodation right on the water. Key handover was difficult because the staff member didn’t understand or speak English or German.
