The room was new/renovated and had modern comforts like an efficient hair dryer, and the space was really good. However, at breakfast there were small flies buzzing around the food and the music was too loud, and there were too few bread options.

The location, room size, and facilities were fine, but the breakfast was terrible (very limited options) and the restaurant had many insects; ants were found in the room. The heater didn’t work, but the staff brought us an extra one.

The breakfast staff were excellent, especially Hussein. The room was pretty basic, with no shelves for clothes—just a handrail—and no mirrors in the bedroom, although the bathroom mirrors were fine. The lounge bar was signposted but didn't exist! The shower worked well with the handheld, but the overhead shower wouldn't work properly even after pressing the switch; I reported this to Roy at reception but nothing changed. When I checked out I mentioned it again, and Housekeeping said it was fine and that I hadn't pressed the switch hard enough.

The reception was very friendly and the location was perfect. Right next to the hotel is a restaurant that belongs to the hotel, and the food was great—overall a perfect stay. The only downside was the bread at breakfast, which feels like a complaint at a very high level.
