The property is very nice, clean, and new. The staff are friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Breakfast is fantastic, with a wide variety of high‑quality items. It’s a bit inconvenient if you want to get to the city center.

We stayed 10 days at the Tawi and felt at home from the moment we arrived. The location is excellent, 5 minutes on foot from the 7 Island beach, near the Love Island, and 700 meters from the shopping center, making it easy to get around by scooter or tuk‑tuk. The owner, Gisella, is always ready to meet any request, and the staff—Kris, Steven, Gioia, Philip, Rafael, and Amason—are fantastic, very kind and always smiling; we had wonderful moments together, laughing and joking as if we had known them forever. The Tawi is very clean, breakfast is great, and the restaurant is also good; we dined there several evenings and everything was excellent. I highly recommend it… I’ll definitely return!

The hotel was brand‑new and had just opened. We were a bit hesitant because there were no reviews yet and it was a recent addition on Booking, so we weren’t sure whether to book. After looking at the photos, we decided to give it a try, and it turned out to be the best choice we could have made. Everything was flawless—from the welcome to the spacious, impeccably clean rooms. Gisella was incredibly hospitable; it’s clear she’s lived in Watamu and Kenya for years and can tell you exactly what to do and where to go. It felt like home, even thousands of kilometres away. It’s close to the beach and the town centre, and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. Highly recommended! Gisella… thank you!

I just returned to Italy after a fabulous week in Kenya. By pure chance, while searching on Booking, I found this place and couldn’t have chosen better! The only downside was discovering it only at the end of the holiday, for the last two nights. The staff were very kind, the pool was a true paradise, and the rooms were spacious, elegant, air‑conditioned, and had a safe. Gisella, the owner, attended to every detail with love and care: she welcomed us warmly and made us feel right at home immediately. I strongly recommend the restaurant as well: the dishes were delicious, both the starters and the main courses, prepared with great taste and quality. A place that stays in the heart. I’ll definitely come back.
