“Overall I wouldn’t say it’s good value for money, unfortunately.”
The location isn’t bad, but the road gets quite jammed so you often get stuck when traveling; I didn’t receive the room I booked—platforms show room options, so you should be certain what you’re booking; I was given a totally different room than what I saw in pictures, possibly even in the wrong building; my room was very dark with many lightbulbs not working; the mosquito net kept dropping dirt onto the bed; I expected water access like other Balinese home stays, but the owner didn’t show me where it was or deemed it unimportant; a lady cleaned almost every day, which was good; the room was very traditional, so the door was locked with a padlock.
I had no positives to mention. The rooms were filled with a terrible mold smell and the humidity was unbearable; I would advise Booking to check reviews more often.
“Chambre pas”
The proximity to the city centre was great. However, the room was damp, the tap was covered in limescale, the bathroom wasn’t very clean and there were spider webs. I didn’t test the pool because there were no lounge chairs to sit on.

The location was close to the center but without the main street’s stress or traffic, and the bathroom was fine; the humidity smell in the room was present from the start, and when I opened the sheets the bed was full of damp stains; the photos look very pretty, but the hotel is actually quite ordinary.
“Location authentique”
The room was large, well equipped, and the staff were very friendly. The pool was small but adequate for a quick dip. It was conveniently located 10 minutes from the city centre and only 1 minute from a beach club and a beautiful temple.
