The establishment is fairly close to the main sights, though getting there is a bit tricky unless you have GPS or an excellent memory and keen sense of direction. The breakfast was hearty, the interior pleasant, and we liked the welcome tea even though it was late. The staff were very helpful despite some communication difficulties. The photos of the riad show double the actual size!

The riad is large with a small, unheated indoor pool. The staff were very kind, especially the multifunctional Mahdi. It’s close to shops, restaurants, and the souk—great for all budgets. The location inside the alleys wasn’t indicated, the bed was too hard, and the toilet wasn’t fixed; it moved a lot and felt like it could fall at any moment. Breakfast on the terrace was chilly and almost cold. The coffee and tea upon arrival were billed as an extra. The real downside is the evening scene: if you’re not familiar with the alleys, you’ll meet well‑meaning people who offer to escort you and then demand money. Do a reconnaissance during the day to avoid this trap.

The staff were very friendly, always up for a chat and offered help where needed. Breakfast was great, Moroccan and freshly prepared for us. The rooms were also nice! The location was a bit less ideal because we had to walk through some dark alleys.
