The dinner offered great value and was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. However, the shower didn’t fit into the holder and the holder didn’t clamp properly onto the tube. Breakfast was a bit underwhelming for the price, and I should have gone to the boulangerie next door and made instant coffee in my room.

The room had a fridge and a kettle. Access was easy even at night. Parking was nearby and the staff were very helpful.

“Great stay, a walk away from Chateau Fengari”

This inn is perfect for weddings at Chateau Fengari, just a 5‑6 minute walk away. It sits in the heart of the small town of Clérac, so there’s a restaurant and a bar nearby. A mini‑mart‑style shop for drinks and snacks is right next to it, and across the street is a boulangerie/pâtisserie for all your chocolatine needs. The rooms are a good size with great air‑conditioning. We enjoyed the morning coffee at the inn and the garden was lovely for sipping wine in the early evening. It was also very cheap and easy to arrange travel to and from. If there’s another event at Chateau Fengari, I’d stay here again. It’s about a 1‑hour drive from Bordeaux airport, though that was with bad traffic. Hope this helps and thanks for having us! I was very happy with everything overall, felt welcomed and well looked after. The shower curtains could use some attention – they were quite close during showers, which we all noticed.
