I was drawn to the beach and port, and the owner couple were genuinely friendly and helpful. However, the address they gave was wrong, making it hard to locate the place. The accommodation felt dirty, with no soap or toilet paper in the shared bathroom. Being an old Japanese house, the walls were thin and I could hear everything; the night we stayed, a noisy group of people kept us awake until 2 am.

The elderly couple were very kind and had a pleasant personality, making the stay feel like home. The building was quite old, decorated with dolls and vases, which felt a bit scary, so I stayed on the first floor instead of the second. There were countless mirrors—every corner seemed to have one. Although nothing supernatural happened, it was enough to make me uneasy.

The proprietress was very kind. The first room they showed me matched the photo, but it was one of three rooms in a building with zero privacy: I could hear the neighboring room’s voices and the door was like a padlock that wouldn’t lock properly. I didn’t feel brave enough to stay a night, so I asked the owner for another building. That place was also old, with warped walls that made all the doors impossible to close, and the toilet and sink looked like they belonged in a haunted house. I wanted to leave immediately, but had plans the next day, so I stuck it out for one night, which turned out to be the worst lodging experience of my life.

The host and his wife were exceptionally kind and helpful, even greeting us late at night and gifting me a birthday present. They shared many stories about the place and the region, showing real care. The villa was spacious, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the AC kept the room at a pleasant temperature. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking or heating meals, and there was a shower bath for relaxing after a long day. I highly recommend it!
