From the balcony there was a direct view of the Mekong, making the location optimal. Getting travel information from the staff about continuing to Laos is not possible due to a lack of foreign language skills.

This hotel is a gem, especially if you're looking for a spot right on the Mekong River. We loved being able to stroll along the promenade and grab a bite to eat at one of the nearby restaurants. The staff were super helpful, too - they even carried our luggage up to our room since there's no lift. The room itself was great, with a balcony overlooking the river and a fantastic wet room bathroom that had plenty of hot water and great pressure.

We stayed here for just one night, and it was perfect. The room was great, the views were amazing, and the staff were super friendly. We didn't have any complaints at all.

We were really impressed with the rooms and the views from our window were stunning. However, we were a bit disappointed to find out that there's no public transportation available, so we had to rely on taxis to get around.
