“Mixed experience: great instructions and clean bed, but very cold room at night”
Clear instructions and seamless check‑in: very detailed pre‑arrival notes, smooth self‑check‑in with a keycode, personalized welcome stickers on room doors, and helpful notes around the house. A shoe‑free policy with a dedicated shoe rack at the entrance keeps floors clean. The bed was comfortable with clean linens and a good mattress. Breakfast was fresh and tasty—eggs, bacon, pancakes, fresh fruit—served on lovely tableware. The room was very cold at night and there was no way to adjust the thermostat individually; despite the host noting the thermostat showed 24 °C elsewhere, the room stayed cold, so we needed extra layers and multiple blankets to sleep. Upon arrival the garbage bin in the living room was full from previous guests, with an empty pizza box; when we pointed it out the host emptied it without any apology or acknowledgment. The room lacked a closet (only a few hangers on the door), had no power outlets near the bedside table, and had no clock. The shower cabin was extremely tight, making it hard to wash without hitting the walls, and the shower curtain stuck to the body.
