Hello, The hotel Hostelist Istanbul was completely closed and not operating when we arrived, despite having a confirmed reservation (confirmation number: 5107967236). The amount of 95.22 EUR was already charged from our bank card, but we could not access the hotel or contact any staff member. Because of this situation, we spent 3 nights without staying in the hotel we paid for. We request an urgent full refund and immediate action regarding this serious issue. “Good value for money”

The staff were friendly and the budget rooms comfortable, but the late check‑out that was promised was not actually provided.

“Super rapport qualité prix”

I liked the central spot, not too close to the ultra‑touristy areas, and we could lock our bikes in a secure, key‑locked room. The mattresses were comfy and everything exceeded my expectations for a very reasonable price. I didn’t appreciate being pushed to pay 1700 TL for the room when it was almost half that on Booking, and it was a pity the hotel closed in February because I’d have liked to stay a few more nights.

The staff, the price, and the fact that there’s someone almost 24 hours a day were positives. The shower was actually a tap, room 31, and the pillow was too hard for me.

“Toller Aufenthalt, toller Balkon!”

It wasn’t perfect, but it was one of the best value hotels I’ve ever visited. The reception was very friendly and helpful, and I enjoyed my stay. The shower didn’t work properly, though I only stayed one night; I’m sure they would have fixed it otherwise.
