The hotel is right in the heart of the city, and the staff provided excellent support. The nearby restaurants are very good, making it just perfect ♥️. However, there is no elevator.

The Churchill Hotel Bayeux Centre is situated on a pedestrian street in Bayeux's historic centre, 400 metres from the Bayeux Tapestry Museum. It features 24-hour reception, an on-site bar, and a gift shop with gourmet regional products. Guest rooms have flat-screen TVs, free WiFi, air conditioning, and private bathrooms. A continental breakfast is served daily, with nearby cafes and restaurants also available.

The place sits in a great location, and the room is small but comfortable. The staff were very helpful throughout my stay.

The location and rooms are comfortable. The staff gave me incomplete and wrong parking info; I asked right after check‑in and they never mentioned the unlimited free parking a couple of streets away. I ended up paying for machine‑paid parking every 3 hours at first in person, then on an unreliable app that wouldn’t reload more than one 3‑hour period, and finally with a card left on my dashboard that had to be readjusted in person. Each method was suggested by different staff members. Because I was on day tours to the Normandy beaches and Mont Saint Michel, paying in person was impossible. I would have gladly paid for 24 hours or longer, but that wasn’t an option. I’m now waiting to see if the car rental company will charge me for one or more parking tickets in Bayeux (tickets are sent later to the person linked to the car’s license plate).

The location was great, the staff were helpful, and even though there was no lift I got help with my luggage up to the 2nd floor. Our room was nicely decorated, clean, and comfortable.
