The room was great, with a comfortable bed, clean and fragrant. Parking was convenient. The breakfast was excellent, but it wasn’t included in the nightly rate. I should have known that the breakfast would be an extra charge.

I liked the service, comfort, convenience, and hospitality; everything had a special touch. The check‑in process was quick, but the time it took to unlock the room for me to enter was disappointing.

The location is very good, the facilities are comfortable and well maintained, and the breakfast is also very good. The kids’ area isn’t suitable for small children, even though that’s its purpose. The floor is all cold tile, with no EVA or carpet covering; the splash pool has no floor covering either, so if a child jumps, they could get hurt. There are many low‑height outlets on the walls, fully reachable by little ones, which worries parents and makes them uneasy about leaving the child free.

The host was outstanding, and the room was exceptional—comfortable beds, spotless cleaning by the hotel staff, cable TV, and brand‑new furniture, so I gave it a perfect 10. However, the staff at Gran Solares made a mistake with wristbands: they separated the wristband type by reservation source, so guests who booked through Booking (a single‑owner lease) got a different wristband than those who booked through your booking center, which felt discriminatory. I didn’t use that wristband because I didn’t want my family to feel different. On 05/09, the check‑in team was completely disengaged from what they were doing, focusing instead on telling us we wouldn’t be able to enter until about 14:00. When I asked if they would clean the room, they said the hotel didn’t do cleaning—clear as day! I corrected them, asking whether it was the hotel or the room owner who cleaned, and they never answered. To top it off, they put my family in the wrong room (logged in the incident book on 05/09 at about 23:00), blocking our access to the correct room because the owner was demanding accommodation, and we only discovered the mistake then, sparking a big argument and shouting in the hotel lobby. I urge the Gran Solares manager to address that team’s performance on the day mentioned and arrange training, because after that heated night‑time dispute caused by a serious check‑in error, we no longer felt welcomed by the hotel staff. Aside from that functional failure, I commend the pool restaurant staff—especially Emilly—for serving our family with excellent dishes every day, lunch, and evening buffet, and for the breakfasts. I also noticed the hotel maintenance is excellent, with bathrooms and corridor floors replaced, and the Minemercado MaTeus is also great.
