We booked the Amazon Dream House at the last minute and the owner met us right away, tired from the jungle, and his wife was incredibly welcoming. The rooms were clean, cozy and exactly what we needed. He arranged a taxi early in the morning for our flight and gave us tips for our next destination.

The hotel sits on the waterfront, with a room offering a beautiful view. The lounge is lovely, where you can sip coffee and have breakfast. The staff are great. The only downside is the lack of a terrace where you can relax and drink coffee.

The owners Jessica and Chip, plus the cleaning staff, were excellent. Everything was great. The only thing that could improve is showing how the shower works when you’re shown the room, since it has a thermal system and the water can come out very hot. But I could have asked too.

Chip and Jessica are very nice hosts. We arrived early and were still able to check in. They picked us up promptly from the airport. They fulfilled all our wishes and provided excellent guides for our tours. We felt very comfortable. We had a room overlooking the Itaya River and could watch the sunrise. The ambiance in the breakfast room was also great. Everything was super.
