The staff were bright, courteous, and attentive. The shower gas water heater was broken, but it was fixed quickly and the other room worked fine, so that was the only issue. Everything else was perfect—service, response, staff, pool, kitchen, cooking utensils, garden, interior…

The room was gorgeous and the gardens were lovely, giving a feeling of intimacy and privacy because the property isn’t huge. The pool, however, could have been cleaner.

We stayed in a spacious family room that offered extra beds for the kids, and the place was very private; the staff were wonderful, and we were far from the crowds.

The villa was secluded near the beach, with two houses on the premises and a shared kitchen. We were alone because the larger house had no guests. The pool was clean, large enough, and fenced, which is important if you have small children, and it was well maintained. It’s great for a quiet family holiday with kids. Ibu Yuni bakes very tasty bread, and a nearby restaurant was recommended. The only downside is that it’s a village where nothing happens, but that’s a big plus for escaping civilization.

The villa was spotless, had a beautiful garden, and provided all the comforts needed for a comfortable stay. The on‑site team were excellent and ready to help with anything. It’s tucked away at the end of a village road, far from the main road, but we were given a free motorbike to get around. The pool was clean and the kids loved it; there were also bikes and go‑carts, though the little pathways around the villa are not very safe for biking. The nearby rocky beach (no sand) was littered with rubbish during our stay, the water was rough and exposed, so we didn’t spend time there and it’s definitely not suitable for young children. There are many local eating spots on the main road, but they’re not geared toward tourists with western options; you have to travel a fair distance by motorbike or car for that. Also, if you’re traveling with kids, note that the doctor isn’t available 24/7—our son needed medical help and we had to wait until 5 pm when the clinic opened.
