A stunning seafront resort with a breathtaking view and a great pool area, plus plenty of sun spots along the beach that let you enjoy beautiful sunsets. The downside is that it’s far from town – you’d have to walk about 30 minutes to catch the ferry to Ajaccio. The rooms looked old and needed an update, and the shower had mildew. The restaurant wouldn’t accommodate special requests; for instance, a Caesar salad was only available via room service, not at the dining room. Over the four days there were no meal specials and the menu stayed the same, even though a famous chef runs it, and the food was only average. The pool staff largely ignored us, focusing instead on other guests.

A true paradise on earth. The staff are absolutely charming, always smiling from the welcome desk to the restaurant, from breakfast to dinner, and even the housekeeping team. The bedding is exceptionally comfortable. The view is unbeatable. Breakfast is magnificent and delicious. The cocktails are delightful. Major renovation work will be carried out soon. The restaurant is very good but the menu changes little, and the dishes are excessively expensive.

Wonderful weekend: loved the hotel, room, and bedding that felt like sleeping on a cloud, the breakfast buffet was exceptional, staff were incredibly attentive, and the panoramic view was breathtaking.

Location is spot‑on, but during our last stay groups kept coming and we couldn’t enjoy the sunny terrace breakfast and were pushed into the shade; later we had a balcony breakfast in the sun but missed the buffet, and the evening dinner was the same situation. The staff were great, the hotel was closed for 18 months of work, we’ll return but will check that no groups are around before booking.
