Nothing good. THIS HOTEL NEEDS TO SHUT DOWN 😡😡😡😡 The hotel looks very old. If I had known it was this bad I wouldn’t have stayed even for free! I’m surprised it’s still legally operating; it should be closed down. It’s not safe for the public. I arrived by car around 9 pm. I couldn’t find a parking space because the entrance area has no car entry; apparently you have to park on the front street. After the parking hassle I walked a bit to the entrance, which was all iced and snow not cleared. I entered the reception where all the lights were off and it was very dark. There was a rough-looking man sleeping on a sofa in the dark. He didn’t speak English, so I used a translator on my phone. He didn’t know the Wi‑Fi password, as if he wasn’t working there, but he gave me the room key and checked my passport. I asked him how he could not know the Wi‑Fi password, and he just opened his arms and walked away to his sofa. I was directed to the elevator on the 5th floor. As soon as I stepped in, the elevator dropped about 30 cm, which was scary! The room was very old and freezing cold because it wasn’t heated. There was no water, no kettle, nothing in the room. I wanted to go outside for water, got into the elevator again, and it dropped to the 4th floor and stopped. I pressed the button again to go down and it stopped at the 2nd floor. I got out and decided to use the stairs because it seemed safer. There were no lights on the stairs. I fell and hurt both knees, bruised! I walked all the way down in pain and explained the situation to the same man, who was very rude and arrogant and didn’t want to hear or help at all. I was showing him a translation, but he kept walking away and didn’t want to listen or help. I tried reaching booking customer service but had no luck; they didn’t get back to me. I had swollen knees the next day and had to go to medical treatment in Hungary. It was very poor and appalling from both the hotel and the side. I will file a complaint with Romanian authorities and European Union public health and safety authorities. This kind of hotel should not be operating without H&S checks.
