The exterior structure is beautiful, the staff friendly, and the location on the island is good, so it has great potential, but the organization fell short. Any island lodge is expected to be simple and “roots”, yet this one was dirty and poorly maintained, unfortunately. My friend’s pillow had a spider web connecting it to the wall, and in my room the bathroom had not been cleaned in a long time and a cockroach fell right under my bed… I didn’t sleep well or comfortably. On top of that, another friend’s reservation was forgotten even though she paid the deposit. It feels like only one person works there, so imagine the cleaning staff—disappointing.

Room 10 was pleasant, with a nice view, solid air‑conditioning, a well‑arranged layout and an attractive décor, but the shower’s four‑handle mixer made it nearly impossible to get the water temperature right and the blanket smelled bad.

The place is beautiful, the coffee is excellent, and the staff are great, but the bed linens smelled like mildew—especially odd since I stayed in August, a very rainy month; overall the value still paid off.

The room’s balcony offered a stunning sea view, the morning coffee was good, and the host let us check out late even before we asked.
