The place is only three blocks from Plaza de Armas, yet the surrounding area felt overly commercial and even a bit unsafe, not at all charming; the hotel lobby looked nothing like a family‑friendly property, seemed high‑turnover, the rooms had cracked doors, smelled damp, and we kept having to request remote controls and towels because they were initially forgotten.

I was exhausted, but I managed to fall asleep quickly. The facilities look a bit worn out, and the staff could be friendlier.

I was grateful to find a place to stay for the night after another accommodation refused me, so my expectations were low. The room’s main appeal is a genuinely large desk; many places have a “desk” so small that only a laptop, mouse, and headphones fit. This one is a proper workbench. The young man carried my suitcase from the garage to the hotel in the evening. I need hooks in the bathroom for towels, storage for toiletries in the sink area and shower, and the parking lot is in a different building, a block away.
