The treehouses are fabulously built from organic materials—truly original. They’re far from villages and noise, and the hosts are great.

It was a unique experience; the treehouses are exceptional, so impressive, spacious, and comfortable. The owners, Chris and Ashley, were super friendly. I had to use ear plugs because it can be a bit noisy at night, but that’s part of staying in a treehouse!

The owners really care about the Tongan community, so the social impact feels genuine and the building itself is impressive. I think the place works best if you’re staying in an Airbnb setup with a car, because during my one‑night transit stop to a super remote spot it didn’t meet my needs.

I had a fantastic, unique experience, though the breakfast was a bit haphazard at first; once we asked for what we needed it was well looked after.

Everything about the nature and the forest was perfect—no negatives.
