I ate a great breakfast and enjoyed the pleasant restaurant, but the location isn’t very convenient for hikes; that’s more a fault of the public transport that poorly serves nearby trailheads than the hotel itself. Liezen also isn’t really a village for vacationing.

The manager was super friendly and the hotel is easy to reach by car, plus there's parking on site. But the place feels pretty old and only meets basic standards.

We stopped over for a night at the Liezenhof. The hosts were lovely, the dinner and breakfast were tasty, and the room was clean, well-equipped, and nicely decorated. Definitely recommend it!
