“We were pleased we had only booked one night as we had thought we may have booked a second but just”
The location fit our needs, the bed was comfy, the place was clean and tidy, and the parking was on the side of the house. However, there were no instructions for the TV and we couldn’t get it to work, nor could the guide; emergency info was missing; there was no tea or coffee, the bath mat had huge holes, the bedding was creased and the top duvet was not nice; we lacked a chair, only a low stool was provided; the back garden view was a mess.

Comfy bed. Good shower. Location for Tramlines. Thin door which did not stop noise from elsewhere in house. Poor lock that could be unlocked by host from outside (and no way to prevent that from inside). Dirty under toilet seat (a 'bit rich' as were made to take our shoes off on entry). Someone using bathroom next door (loud extractor) after midnight, and then having a loud conversation on speakerphone. TV not working and clearly not worked for some time. One of the two pillows did not have a case/cover (although was clean). Felt like a house of multiple occupancy/student digs. We wanted to like it as one of the earlier reviews looked unfair, but we just did not feel comfortable/safe/relaxed there and left around 7.30am. Sorry

The room was very spacious and clean, and the facilities were excellent.

We booked the family room expecting a bed and a separate futon, but only a large bed was there. The advertised private check‑in made us wait in the cold for about 10 minutes for someone to let us in. The TV was not working, and the owner tried to charge us for two missing towels that were actually left in the property. I’m glad we only stayed one night.
