The spot is great: Shinjuku‑sanchome and Shinjuku‑gyoemmae stations are just a few minutes away, and shops, restaurants and konbini surround the area. The apartment itself is why we booked it—ample room for a family, a full kitchen, a washer/dryer, and a simple keycode self‑check‑in. Both on paper and in reality, it’s a solid family place.

The location and room size are good, there is no staff on site, but the computer helped us make a few bookings. The sofa was very dirty and the sheets smelled damp.

The room was clean and had everything we needed; the kitchen was handy for cooking, the beds were comfortable, and the toilet and shower were modern and tidy. No view, but that was fine. The check‑in time was too late for us after a 14‑hour flight, and we had to pay £20 for lockers and wander around Tokyo like a zombie until we could check in. I’d suggest they offer a storage area. The communication about this wasn’t great, although we eventually managed to get in an hour earlier. There were a few quiet‑time rules, but that wasn’t a big deal.
