A'Luggatella sits atop the hill, offering a great location with private, safe parking. If you prefer not to drive into Naples, a bus or metro within walking distance works well. Our room lacked a view, but we could enjoy the scenery from the private driveway, which is spectacular. Breakfast was a letdown: no common dining area, only pre‑packed items, and the selection was poor. A coffee machine in the hallway serves good coffee and teas.

The room was spotless and had all the essentials. The roof terrace offered an amazing view over Naples and the bay, which was the highlight. It’s a solid spot if you want to enjoy Naples during the day or explore nearby areas. Parking was a real find – gated and a reserved spot. A grocery store and a tasty pizza place are just around the corner. The metro station is a 15‑minute walk. The only downside is that you’ll need to haul your suitcase up several staircases, which could be a problem for some.

The view was a dream, but there wasn’t even a single bottle of water.
