The site was lovely, featuring a Kneipp pool, natural outdoor pool, sun‑shaded loungers, a large area with herb gardens, beautiful trees, flower‑filled fountains and even chickens, all very well‑maintained and inviting, plus a historic mill nearby that bakes once a week; we used the nice sauna and the Summer Card covered bus and cable‑car rides, so we left the car parked, and the food was first‑rate with vegan, vegetarian and meat dishes, all organic and superb, making us feel pampered; the yoga sessions with our instructors were varied and professional, a real treat, but the “easy” 30 % incline forest walk turned out to be very tiring because of the pace, and although they offered us to stop we kept going, wishing they’d slowed the tempo – we mentioned this but nothing changed, and the staff’s attitude felt off, leaving us without a contact person at the top and making us feel unwelcome; nevertheless we managed on our own, set our own rhythm with nature, and left with a beautiful holiday memory, so we’d recommend the hotel any time.
