We were greeted with a warm welcome and had a great time. The food was advertised on the website, but it turned out to be non‑existent. Still, there are other options nearby.
Great spot for rainforest hikes, whether you’re guided or on your own. The place is well kept and Channi goes above and beyond to make the stay comfortable. We stayed four nights and felt right at home. Getting there by public transport is a bit tricky but doable—buses run from Uvita/Quepos/San José to Puerto Jiménez, then you take a taxi or the collectivo, and Channi helps with that too.
