The hotel restaurant stayed open until 22:00, which was very convenient after long days of temple visits. Breakfast was decent, and the morning staff were excellent. Reception service was mixed: some employees were friendly, others less so. The room was okay but a bit dated; the bathtub was odd, the sink very shallow, and the bed edges were a bit sharp. The air‑conditioner could have been stronger. Considering the price, garden, and pool, the value for money was acceptable. I would stay again, though I might ask for a better room next time.

“A voir photos”

I especially liked the pool; the staff were very kind and attentive. It is a bit far from the city center, more than a 20‑minute walk. There was a lot of noise from guests with unruly children who showed no respect for other guests. The menus didn’t match the photos at all, not just the color. Breakfast was not great; I mainly had croissants and a non‑menu coffee that was better than the bland coffee available. We changed rooms once but then decided not to ask again because we understood the rooms were similar. There was no bedside lamp or power outlet near the bed, so I had to go to the door to turn the lights on or off before going back to bed in the dark. The sink tap was loose and moved when you touched it, and the buttons were inaccessible. Water would pool on the floor and couldn’t be drained, so you had to use a towel to avoid stagnant water.

The staff were very friendly. The pool was nice. Breakfast and meals were okay. The shower was not entirely satisfactory; adjusting between hot and cold was almost impossible.

The hotel has a beautiful green garden that shades the pool—a real advantage on hot days. All balconies face the pool area. The atmosphere is wonderful and the service friendly. Whether it’s changing rooms or meals, excellent poolside drinks, or laundry services, everything works smoothly. A tuk‑tuk is the best way to reach the city center.

“En helt perfekt vistelse”

Every employee is local, which is intentional: the hotel focuses on hiring locals instead of foreign staff, and it shows in how they talk about their city. The reception staff arranged my tour to Angkor Wat and recommended a stall at the night market I would never have found on my own; when I asked about Khmer cuisine, one of them explained the difference between “amok” and curry instead of just handing me a menu. Breakfast is simple but tasty, and the pool is undoubtedly one of the best I’ve seen in Siem Reap, but I’ll return because I feel the money benefits the local community. It’s unusual, and it’s clear in how they treat guests.
